In June of 2014, at age 71: I thought that I was close to the end of my road, and was in very ill health. We made a decision for a “Last” trip to fulfill a bucket list; but a heart attack in the mountains of Colorado, set forth a whole new vision and path for serving our Lord. Five days in a Denver hospital changed my perspective on everything. The Lord graciously pointed out a secret sin that made it impossible for the deep fellowship that He desires. Suffice to say, I repented, asked for His forgiveness, and from that day the Lord has set me on “Fire” for him, and the Kingdom. I was a lost sheep, walking lukewarm, and Jesus came and rescued me.

Upon our return, a home that we had tried to sell for three years, sold in 7 days with a cash closing. Two weeks later we were on the way to Albuquerque for what turned out to be a one year assignment. There the Lord laid out a ministry of advocacy for a precious missionary in Zambia, Africa. My wife went to Zambia for six weeks, and I began building a website for this missionary, and more advocacy doors were later to open.

After the year, we returned to Tennessee, thinking our work was complete. After a short six months; we were led to Pensacola Florida for a season. There Thanne received a new knee, and we established a close fellowship with three different congregations, and widened our advocacy to Colombia, South America, and to a pastor in India.

Now we have returned to Tennessee to settle in for our remaining days; still advocating for missionaries, creating websites, and posting scriptures and videos on social networks to spread the word. Soon to be age 76, with each additional day a gift.

John Wesley said: “Catch on fire and people will come for miles to see you burn.” It is our fervent desire to communicate that you too can be on Fire for our Lord Jesus Christ to communicate His Love, and to spread the Good News and share the Gospel.
